The 10th Annual International Scientific Conference Starts Its Activities

Under the auspices of the KHS secretary-General, Dr. Haider Hasan Al-Shammari, the 10th Annual International Scientific Conference, which was held on the 10th & 11th of Dec. 2021, started its activities under the slogan: " The Mahdi's Cause Between The Philosophy Of Waiting & The Challenges Of Reappearance", in the presence of Sheikh Hussain Aal Yaseen, the Supreme Religious Authority's representative in Kadhimiya, the Holy Shrines & Sanctuaries' delegations, a number of academic figures, deans of Iraqi universities, and a group of scholars of Hawza.
After reciting some verses of the Holy Quran, the KHS Secretariat General Speech was delivered by Its Secretary-General, Dr. Al-Shammari in which we quote: "The subject we're dealing with is a contemporary issue related to the Imam of our time, Imam Mahdi (ATF). It is worth researching and analyzing since it is associated with the nation's destiny.
In the first place, we need to build up the awaiting person's character, and then we should set out to reform others, which is the most prominent aspect of preparing for the blessed reappearance.
Perhaps the outcomes of our conference support that perspective by utilizing the efforts of researchers to achieve its successful objectives.
He added: "Our responsibility is great, as it is necessary to remain firm in our beliefs and to strengthen our devotion to the Ahlul-Bayt, especially the Imam of our time (ATF), Undoubtedly, this matter is required at all times and eras, but it has received a particular attention during the time of occultation due to the absence of the Imam on one hand, and the large number of temptations and misconceptions raised by the enemies and which may lead to the misguidance of some people on the other hand.
Fifty-one research papers were received from Iraq and other countries, including Syria, Palestine, Iran, and India. The approved papers were (29) in accordance with the terms set by the conference preparatory committee, which stipulated that the approval degree is (70%).
The sessions were then distributed across the Holy Shrine halls to have the submitted researches discussed.
