In the early morning of the 10th of Thil-Hijjah, 1444 AH, 29 June 2023, the Kadhimain Holy Courtyard witnessed practicing the rituals of the Eid Al-Adha prayer. In a spiritual scene, masses of visitors aligned for performing the Eid prayer.

The Adha prayer was conducted by His Excellency Sheikh Husain Aal Yaseen, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani in the Holy City of Kadhimiya.

The Eid sermon stressed the need of returning to God, repent to Him, obey His commands, and strive to follow the morals and approach of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and his immaculate family.

Sheikh Aal Yasin also highlighted that the essence of Eid is that we are proud of our monotheism and our belief in God, His Messenger, the Qur’an, and the Holy Prophet’s immaculate progeny (PBUT).

The Eid sermon was concluded by praying for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AATF), praying for believing men and women and for the martyrs who responded to the blessed fatwa of defense launched by the Religious Supreme Authority, and for security and peace for Iraq and all Muslim countries.

Meanwhile, the KHS Secretariat General has mobilized all its departments, sections, and units to provide the best services to the masses of visitors who are coming to Ziyarat of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) during Eid Al-Adha days.
