Coinciding with the greatest Eid of Allah,  Eid ul-Ghadir, the KHS delegation answered an invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the First International Imamate Week Festival held by the Secretariat General of Abbas (p) Holy Shrine under the slogan: (Prophecy and Imamate are inseparable pairs) and under the title (Imamate is the nation's system).

The Festival was attended by a group of religious, intellectual, and academic personalities from inside and outside Iraq.

The opening ceremony witnessed a speech by His Eminence Sayyed Ahmed Al-Safi, the Guardian of Abbas Holy Shrine, during which he stated: "Imamate Week has been chosen to be held after contemplation considering the fact that Imam Ali (AS) was its focal point, as we speak in the belief of AhlulBayt School (AS)", stressing that "the week of the Imamate came to recall the event of the blessed Eid of Ghadir and to enrich the Islamic library with the valuable researches of the esteemed participants."

The ceremony was concluded with a research paper presented by His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Milani, in which he addressed the general title of the festival, which is held under the slogan (Prophecy and Imamate are two inseparable pairs).
