Accepting Invitation to Opening of Second Karbala International Competition for Reciting & Memorizing Holy Qur’an
KHS Holy Quran Center answered an Invitation to attend the opening of the Second Karbala International Prize Competition for Reciting and Memorizing Holy Qur’an held by the Holy Quran Center affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
This event is dedicated to the Holy Shrines and sanctuaries, as part of the activities of supporting the Holy Qur’an Week, in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Abd-ul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Guardian of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, a number of holy Quran teaching staff, memorizers, and reciters from inside and outside Iraq.
The competition witnessed the participation of (54) memorizers and reciters representing the holy shrines, sanctuaries, and mosques from (10) Arab and Islamic countries, including: (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Iraq), as well as Participation of (15) international experts in various Quranic disciplines.
The Kadhimain Holy Shrine had a participation in this blessed Qur’anic forum through the recitation of the opening ceremony of the competition by the KHS reciter, Dr. Rafi’ Al-Amiri, and the participation of two servants from KHS Holy Quran Center in the recitation and memorization competitions.
