The Auto Dept.’s staff is exerting efforts to facilitate the arrivals and departures of the large numbers of visitors.

Mr. Mustafa H. Mohammad Al-, Head of Auto Dept., confirmed that a plan for transporting visitors was worked out 24 hours a day for the Arbaeen anniversary to run simultaneously with the times of accommodation of visitors, under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. AL-Shammari, and follow-up of the Ziyara Management Committee.

“This year, we provided”, he added, “(35) buses for the masses of visitors coming to Kadhimiya to transport them to their housing places within Kadhimiya and its outskirts, and then bring them back before the Fajr prayer to KHS.” He furthermore confirmed that “We are taking approx. 5400 visitors to and from KHS per day, in addition, other vehicles are provided such as ambulances, (30) trucks, (5) tank trucks, and (16) refrigerated trucks to transport water, juices and ice and any requirements for the visitors’ housing places”.

He also explained that “The KHS has started implementing the second phase of the service plan dedicated to the Arbaeen Season which has already begun since the 18th of the month of Safar to the 25th which included providing free daily transportation by modern buses to transport the Arbaeen visitors from the Holy city of Kadhimiya to the border crossings.

Through this initiative, the KHS Secretariat General reaffirms its constant commitment to offering the highest levels of service to the esteemed visitors.
