Under the guidance of KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS delegation accepted an invitation to attend the Ninth Annual Cultural Al-Sidiyqah Al-Kubra (AS) Festival, held by Abbas (P) Holy Shrine/University and School Relations Section.

The festival, which was held at Baghdad University, witnessed a large attendance from some religious, academic, and intellectual personalities.

Several speeches were delivered during the event, pointing out some merits of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (AS), highlighting her sublime status in the Holy Quran and the Islamic narrations, and referring to some lessons from her blessed biography in the social and educational aspects, which may serve as a role model and have a significant influence on raising the Muslim family.

800 female students, who wear Islamic Fatimiya Abaya, were also honored within the festival activities to encourage them to preserve their Islamic identity and what Lady Zahra (AS) was keen to preserve.

The KHS delegation, for their part, praised the efforts of the festival’s organizers, wishing them more success.
