The KHS Secretary-General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, accompanied by Eng. Mustafa Abdul-Majeed, the head of Engineering Affairs Department, checked on the progress of ongoing construction projects at the Kadhimain Holy Shrine, including the donation-funded project of rehabilitating Imam Al-Baqir’s (AS) Courtyard, renovation of Amir-ul-Mu'minin Imam Ali’s (AS) Courtyard Project, and tiling Project of Imam Sahibul-Zaman (AAF) Courtyard.

During his tour, the Secretary-General listened to the supervising engineers about the percentage of completion of these projects and discussed a number of issues relating to the subsequent phases of work.

The Secretary-General addressed some of the obstacles encountered during the work phases and urged the workers to put forth their best efforts for what the status of this sacred place deserves, emphasizing that the projects should be completed as scheduled in accordance with the design and implementation specifications, in addition, to use high-quality materials in order to provide the Holy Shrine and its visitors with the best services.
