The Kadhimain Holy Shrine (KHS) concluded the activities of the 8th Annual Arabic Poetry Festival which was held under the slogan: (Rhymes of Loyalty in footsteps of the Master of humanity).

Twenty-three poems were delivered after being reviewed and evaluated by an expert committee, which focused on the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAAW) and his bright legacy.

Through their participation in the event, the participating poets showed their pioneering, literary, and cultural roles and offered valuable Arabic poetry to the literary library.

The ceremony was ended with awarding certificates of merit and festival shields to the festival committee members, participating poets, and the KHS departments, sections, and units that played effective roles in making this event a success as well as the activities of the week-long Birth Spring festival, the 11th Annual International Scientific Conference and the Eighth International Book Fair.

Along with this festival and the upcoming events, the KHS Secretariat General aims to firmly establish the concept of allegiance to the Holy Prophet and his immaculate progeny and, being the best role models, to translate it into conduct in our daily lives.
