The KHS Secretary-General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, held a meeting in the presence of Eng. Falah Abdel-Hassan, member of the board of directors and the engineering affairs department's supervisor, a number of consulting engineers specialized in architecture and urban planning, the engineering design team from Beheshti University, and a number of the KHS Engineering staff.

The meeting discussed the Kadhimain Holy Shrine's basic design for the target year (2045), and strategic plans for future projects; Including plans to rehabilitate, develop and expand the holy shrine's facilities along with preserving the urban design and religious heritage of the city of Kadhimiya, starting from the infrastructure and ending with the other stages of these service projects, in order to offer the best services to the Holy Shrine’s visitors.
