KHS Begins Establishment of Museum for the Holy Shrine Acquisitions & Masterpieces

For the importance of preserving the acquisitions of the Kadhimain Holy Shrine which represent a rich historical heritage that goes back hundreds of years, and the rare invaluable manuscripts, the KHS Secretary-General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, instructed the engineering & technical staff to establish a museum to place the precious acquisitions of masterpieces, antiquities, and manuscripts kept in the Holy Shrine's treasury.

The museum's first phase saw the selection and rehabilitation of its site, which is situated southeast of the Holy courtyard, between the courtyards of Al-Murad Gate and Al-Qibla Gate.

Following that, the museum's interior designs will be made, and the hall will be supplied with a monitoring camera system, appropriate ventilation, and suitable lighting, considering that the work is going smoothly and as scheduled.
