The Cultural Seminar of Al-Jawadain Library held its 129th seminar, in the presence of a number of researchers, and academic and intellectual personalities.

The seminar was started with reciting some verses of the Holy Quran, followed by a research paper entitled: (Self-regulation and mind management), presented by Dr. Basim Khalaf, a researcher, who touched upon the concept of self-regulation which allows controlling one's thoughts, emotions, and behavior so as to adapt appropriately.

The researcher also highlighted the main elements that affect self-regulation, thinking skills, and historical scholarly perspectives on the logic of reason, besides self-monitoring and decision-making of Individuals and their adaptation to what is necessary to fulfill their duties in society effectively.

The seminar was also enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience.
