In support of the human and educational programs, and with the aim of establishing the Mahdist culture among our dear students, under the auspices of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS Secretariat General has launched an initiative entitled “Mahdist Scholastic Year”, which aims to give our students a sense of Imam Mahdi's (AAF) existence and inspire them to work hard and be persistent for the sake of the Imam in order to support the Mahdist cause in the future.

The program activities which were held at Imam Hasan’s (AS) Elementary School, were attended by the Director-General of Baghdad Education Directorate, Karkh III, Mr. Saad S. Al-Rubaie, a number of directors of specialized and educational supervision departments, and a group of educational staff.

The activities were started with some verses of the Holy Quran and were followed by the KHS SG Speech which was delivered by Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhimi, who underlined the main goal of the value of teaching and learning, and the KHS Secretariat General’s efforts in promoting the Mahdist culture, and spreading the spirit of a waiting culture to raise a positive awaited generation that helps create a conscious society.

Sheikh Al-Kadhimi also referred that this initiative will also be held in a number of elementary, secondary, and high schools, where its program will include; cultural and intellectual activities, honoring orphans and outstanding students, and other development programs.

The Kharkh III Director-General also made a speech and thanked the KHS SG for supporting the educational institution and strengthening ties of joint cooperation.

The ceremony was ended by honoring the school’s management, educational staff, and a number of orphans and outstanding students with some gifts from the blessings of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).
