Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary-General Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, a delegation from the KHS Public Relations Dept. attended the activities of the 1st conference on sustainable development, local experiences, and success stories in applying the 2030 Agenda.

The conference was held by the Secretariat General of Abbas (P) Holy Shrine in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, under the slogan: (The future’s welfare lies in protecting the present).

The conference reviewed Abbas (P) Holy Shrine's projects and achievements in the field of sustainable development which included (45) economic projects, (90) intellectual projects, and (91) service projects.

The sustainable development experience of Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation was also presented with the aim of adopting future perceptions and new visions in this field.

The KHS delegation, on his part, praised the blessed efforts of the conference’s organizers and wished them more success.
