In preparation for the Ziyara to be witnessed on the 25th of the month of Rajab, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Kadhim (AS), and under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the Maintenance Order Dept. management started the installation of a set of modern high-efficiency bag-checking devices at the main entrances of Kadhimain Holy Shrine.

This new system, which keeps up with technological advancement, helps to provide visitors additional services on the organizational and security levels including reducing crowds and waiting at entry points, especially during millionth Ziyarats, where bags will be checked without being opened.

Additionally, a group of sonar unit staff received training on operating these devices, responding in an emergency, and detecting suspicious materials in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior / Explosives Control Directorate.
