Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of the birth Anniversary of lady Fatima Az-Zahra (AS), the Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine held a Ceremony to honor (500) girls who have completed the nine lunar years and become Islamically competent.

The ceremony was started with some verses of the Holy Quran and was followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the Secretary General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine, who said: “Today we meet elegant princesses whose white appearance as butterflies fluttering with angelic wings while they enter a new phase of their life and their heads are crowned with the crown of faith, loyalty, and chastity.”

“My daughters,” he continued, “You are the mothers of tomorrow, the educators of generations, and, God willing, the makers of men who will serve the religion and the nation.”

He moreover added that It must be pointed out that the outward veil, which God Almighty commanded women to abide by, must be accompanied by another important veil, which is the inner veil that shields a person from sins and disobeying God. Likewise, the two veils are complementary to one another, and only when they are observed together does the genuine veil take on its real essence.

The KHS Servant, Aamal Abdul Karim also delivered a speech on behalf of the Holy Quran Center in which she highlighted a number of recommendations for the Islamically competent girls.

Many poems were recited during the ceremony which included a performance entitled: "The Crowning of the Daughters of Zahra", and the event was concluded by the Ziyarat of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) and honoring the participants’ girls with some gifts.
