Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, a delegation from Kadhimain Holy Shrine took part in the activities of the second international scientific conference which was organized by the Intellectual Affairs Dept. of Radd Al-Shams Sanctuary, in cooperation with the Secretariat General of Abbas Holy Shrine represented by Center of Hillah Heritage and the College of Islamic Sciences of Babylon University.

The conference was held under the banner of “Fatima Al-Zahra, AS, the fruit of prophecy and the tree of Imamate”, in the presence of a number of cultural and academic personalities.

The event started with the participation of the Al-Jawadain Chant Band with some poems chanting the lady Zahra’s (AS) birth anniversary. It was followed by the conference's scientific committee's speech before the conference sessions started to discuss one hundred research papers submitted from inside and outside Iraq.

The conference's main themes included: (Quranic studies, doctrinal and intellectual studies, Hadith and jurisprudence studies, biography and historical studies, educational, psychological and social studies, law, political and media studies, Arabic language and literature studies, and English language Studies.)

The KHS delegation highly appreciated the efforts made in making the conference a success wishing the organizers more success in the future.
