The delegation of Muslim Council of Elders, headed by its Secretary General, the Consultant Muhammad Abdul-Salam honored by the visit of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).
After performing the Ziyarat rituals, the delegation was warmly received by the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, and a number of the management members. 

The KHS Secretary General, on his part, expressed his happiness with the visit, pointing out the significance of joint efforts, mutual cooperation, and calling for maintaining the unity of Muslims in rejecting extremism in all its forms that seeks to divide the Muslim communities and misrepresent the true identity of Islam.

The meeting also reviewed some of the activities made by the two parties in terms of communicating with Islamic sects, strengthening unity bonds, and spreading the spirit of cooperation and tolerance in the name of the Prophet of Human and Mercy, Muhammad, and his immaculate Progeny (PBUT).

The guest delegation gifted the Secretary General a memento shield as a token of peaceful coexistence.

At the end of the meeting, the KHS Secretary General gifted the delegation an artwork with Imam Ali's (AS) well-known saying written on it, “People are of two kinds, either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity.”

The delegation had also a tour inside the holy courtyard and visited Al-Jawadain Public Library and the Woodcarving & Decoration Fair.

For his part, the Muslim Council of Elders delegation praised the great efforts made by the KHS Secretariat General in promoting the human aspects, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant them success in serving the visitors of this Holy place.
