To announce the start of mourning days for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (PBUH) coinciding on the 25th of the Holy Month of Rajab, and participating the mourning processions and loyal masses including men and women, old and youth that will march from the southernmost part of Iraq towards the Holy Shrine of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) on foot to commemorate this painful occasion.

Under the auspices of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS Secretariat General held a mourning ceremony at the Hussayniyah of Amir-ul-Mu’minin (AS), in Zubayr District in Basra Governorate.

The ceremony was attended by the delegation of representatives of the Religious Authority, a number of prominent figures of and social personalities of Zubayr District, and a group of Mawakib’s servants.

The mourning ceremony started with reciting some verses of the Holy Quran and was followed by a speech delivered by his Excellency Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhimai, who stressed the significance of reviving the AhlulBayt's (AS) occasions, as its matter relates to the creed more than offering sympathy.

He also pointed out that the ceremony of raising the blessed banner is to raise the banner of righteousness and sacrifice for the sake of upholding the word of God Almighty.

in an atmosphere of sorrow, the ceremony was concluded by raising the banner in the Hussayniyah, at the same time the KHS delegation continue their activities by spreading posters of condolences in many provinces and districts of Iraq.
