In promoting the cultural movement in Iraq, and contributing to disseminating AhlulBayt's legacy, especially that of Imamain Jawadain (AS). Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. AL-Shammari, the KHS Cultural and Intellectual Affairs Dept. participated in the 16th Karbala International Book Fair held in Holy Karbala within the activities of Martyrdom Spring International Cultural Festival, under the auspices of the Secretariats General of the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain (AS) and Abbas (AS), under the slogan “Imam Hussain "PBUH" in the Conscience of Nations”.

The KHS pavilion included some books and publications regarding the blessed biographies and teachings of Imamain Kadhimain (AS), besides other academic, religious, social, cultural and scientific books, as well as some periodical publications.

It is to be noted that this cultural gathering was held in the area between the two Holy Shrines with the participation of (142) Local and international publishing houses.
