Amidst the joys and celebrations that the Muslim World lives in the blessed Month of Sha’ban, on the births anniversary of Imam Hussain and his brother Abul-Fadhl Al-Abbas, Imam Sajjad and Hazrat Ali Al-Akbar (PBUT), and our Awaited Imam Mahdi (AAF), the Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine and under the auspices of its Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, continues its initiative of Mahdist Scholastic Year at AL-Sondos Elementary School.

The activities were started with reciting some verses of the Holy Quran and were followed by the KHS SG Speech which was delivered by Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhimi, who underlined the importance of reviving religious occasions including the blessed births anniversaries of the month of Sha’ban, as we should be inspired by these bright moons of the sky of Islam and take them as role models.

His Eminence also emphasized the significance of perseverance and excellence in the individual’s educational life.

Al-Jawadain Chant Band also took part in the activities with the participation of a number of students with some poems, and the ceremony was ended by honoring the school’s management, educational staff, and a number of orphans and outstanding students with some gifts from the blessings of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).

It is worth noting that the KHS Secretariat General seeks, through this initiative, to meet the goals of its humanitarian mission in developing the child's personality in line with the teachings of Ahlulbayt (AS).
