On the auspicious birth anniversary of the Imam of our Time, the awaited savior Imam Al-Mahdi (AAF), and coinciding with the 9th anniversary of the blessed Sufficiency Jihad Fatwa launched by the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani (May Allah prolong his blessed life), the KHS Secretariat General, under the auspices of its Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, held its central ceremony at the Holy Courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).

The ceremony was attended by delegations of other Holy Shrines and Sanctuaries, Baghdad Hussaini Gathering, and some religious and social personalities besides the visitors of the Kadhimain of Holy Shrine.

The celebration was started with reciting verses of the Holy Quran and reciting Fatiha and prayers of mercy for the martyrs, followed by a speech by the KHS Secretary-General in which he said: “It’s a great honor for all of us to celebrate two great occasions that made a significant historical mark which changed and will change the course of the events. Such blessed days, we recall today the 1189th birth anniversary of the great remnant of Allah, Imam Mahdi (AAF), and the 9th anniversary of the Sufficiency Defense Fatwa.”

He also highlighted the necessity of having a definitive belief in the reappearance of the global religious reformer who shall establish the Divine Fair State all around the world which is a matter recognized by all religions and sects.

He also shed light on the heroism of the heroic fighters and martyrs of Iraq who sacrificed their souls for their homeland and people after they responded to the blessed Fatwa on the 14th of the month of Sha’ban.

The celebration witnessed the participation of Al-Jawadain Chant Band with a poem entitled: “the Savior of people”, and was concluded with some poems chanting the happy event.
