In coincidence with the completion of the Quranic activities and educational programs for both males and females that the Holy Courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) witnessed throughout the Holy month of Ramadan, under the auspices of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS Secretariat General held a ceremony to honor the participants of the Quranic activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The ceremony was attended by the KHS Secretary General, members of the management board, and some male and female participants of the Quranic educational programs, besides the Quranic teaching staff.

After reciting some verses of Holy Quran, Dr. Al-Shammari delivered a speech saying: “Next to Imamain Kadhimain (AS), and on the table of Holy Quran, we meet today, to celebrate the completion of the Quranic activities after we spent almost a month seeing the groups of males and females while they were occupied in reciting the Holy Quran in the month of its reveal, and in houses that Allah has permitted to be raised up and His Name to be mentioned therein”.

He also added that as a part of the responsibility we shoulder in facing various misleading groups represented by cultural invasion and soft media that target the base of society, which is the youth segment, and in order to protect our families and community, the KHS Secretariat General has always been keen to support Quranic activities in holding the Quranic courses throughout the year (Reciting, Memorizing, and Tafseer) for both males and females.

The Secretary-General also praised the teaching staff and the students, as well as the Kadhimain Holy Shrine servants for their efforts throughout the Holy month of Ramadan.

Ammar Al-Musawi, the head of the Holy Quran Center, also delivered a speech, in which he thanked the KHS Management with all its departments, sections, and units for their exerted efforts throughout the Holy month of Ramadan to make these activities a success.

The ceremony also included displaying a short video about the Holy Quran Center activities and was concluded by awarding certificates of merits to the teaching staff who run the Quranic programs and the reciters of the Holy Shrine.
