On Saturday early morning, the 1st of Shawwal, 1444 AH, 22 April 2023, the Kadhimain Holy Courtyard witnessed practicing the rituals of Eid Al-Fitr prayer. In majestic spiritual scene, thousands of visitors aligned to perform the Eid prayer.

The Eid-Fitr prayer was conducted by His Excellency Sheikh Husain Aal Yaseen, the Representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani in the Holy City of Kadhimiya.

The Eid sermon which was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Aal-Yaseen started by praying for hasting the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AAF), stressed the need to return to God, repent to Him, obey His commands, and strive to follow the morals and approach of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and his immaculate family.

He also quoted the sermon of the Commander of Faithful Imam Ali (AS) on the day of Eid-Fitr, which says, “Verily this day of yours is the day when the righteous are awarded and the wretched are losers.

It is a day similar to the one you shall be standing (before your Lord).

Therefore, when you come out of your homes to go to places of your prayer, remind yourselves about the day when you (your souls) shall come out of your bodies to go to your Lord.

When you stand in places of your prayer, remind yourselves of your standing in presence of your Lord (on the day of Judgment).

And when you return to your homes (after prayer), remind yourselves about your returning to your homes in Paradise.”

It is worth mentioning, the KHS Secretariat General has mobilized all its departments, sections, and units to provide the best services to the masses of visitors who are coming to Ziyarat of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) during Eid Al-Fitr days.
