Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS Horticulture & Agriculture Unit, and Automobile Dept. in cooperation with the Directorate of Municipal of the Kadhimiya City carried out a campaign to plant a number of the holy City of Kadhimiya’s streets and median barriers.

The campaign included planting an appropriate number of evergreen trees, flower seedlings, and ornamentals that can withstand weather conditions.

This campaign comes with the environmental conservation initiative and addresses the adverse impacts of climate change, as well as promoting community awareness of the value of planting.

Through this initiative, the KHS Secretariat General seeks to offer the holy city of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) the finest services that its religious and historical status deserves.
