KHS Secretariat General Organizes Scientific Course on Medicine and its Side Effects

Within the interest of the KHS Secretariat General, represented by its Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari in raising health awareness among the Holy Shrine's staff, the KHS Medical Section held A scientific course on potential risks and side effects of some medications.

The course was attended by the holy shrine’s male and female medical staff, as well as a number of medical volunteers.

The course which was presented by Pharmacist Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Basset, Dr. Alaa K. Al-Asadi, and pharmacist Tabarak M. Abboud, included the fundamentals of medication usage, the side effects of each medication and the risks of its incorrect consumption, and emphasis on health awareness.

The course was also enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience.

Holding such courses aims to improve and develop the Holy Shrine's Medical staff, which will eventually benefit the visitors of Imamain Kadhimian (AS) by providing them with necessary medical services.
