Following the completion of Kadhimain Holy Courtyard’s infrastructure project (100%), which will provide new pathways for all services systems throughout the old Courtyard with an estimated area of (8000 M2), under the auspices and close follow-up of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. AL-Shammari, the KHS Engineering & Technical staff started executing the works of tiling the Holy Courtyard's floor and walls with marble in architectural designs, in accordance with schedules and an action plan to ensure that the ongoing works do not impede visitors' movement.

In terms of tiling materials, the finest types of marble in various sizes was selected which is known as (Thassos Marble Tiles), the same one used in the holy site of Mecca. In addition to fixing the marble pieces using the best types of expansion joints.

It's worth noting that the KHS Secretariat General is eager to develop new worship places to serve the Holy Shrine's visitors under different weather conditions.
