Under the guidance of KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS delegation accepted an invitation to attend the annual festival of commemorating the 17th anniversary of Imamain ‘Askariyyain’s dome detonation which occurred in 1427 A.H, i.e. 2006.

The festival which was held by Imam A'askari Holy Shrine, was attended by a number of religious, intellectual, and social personalities, besides a group of security leaderships and masses of visitors.

Several speeches were delivered during the ceremony shedding light on this heinous crime that violated the sanctity of this holy shrine which is the burial place of two infallible Imams, Imam Hadi and Imam ‘Askari (PBUT).

The speeches also pointed out the vital role that the Supreme Religious Authority plays in protecting Iraq and its sanctities.
