Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, a delegation from Kadhimain Holy Shrine accepted an invitation of the College of Science at Nahrain University to take part in its 8th Annual Festival in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein and his family and companions (PBUT).

The ceremony was attended by the university deans, professors, and a number of religious, academic, and social figures.

Many speeches were delivered during the ceremony underlining the moral and Human values of Imam Hussein’s (AS) revolution and its eternity, and putting a focus on the obligations and responsibilities of conscious youth in light of Imam Hussein's (AS) immortal path.

Al-Jawadain chanters’ band also took part in the festival’s activities with some elegies.

It is worth noting that the KHS Secretariat General continues its efforts to achieve its goals and development programs and pursue communication with Iraqi universities, research and academic institutions, looking to contribute to spreading the noble human and moral values that the Immaculate Imams have emphasized.
