In coincidence with the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (AS), and under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the KHS Secretariat General in cooperation with Al-Fikr Al-Hussaini Foundation for Development and Improvement and coordination with some Iraqi universities, including (Baghdad Uni., Mustansiryia Uni., Technology Uni., Middle Technical Uni., and Diyala Uni.), a student rally was organized in support of our oppressed Palestinian people under the slogan, “From the prophethood's daughter, we derive heroism, struggle, and strength”.

The rally was attended by some KHS staff, professors and academic figures, and many of the universities’ students.

The march began on Al-Murad Street and proceeded towards the Kadhimain Holy Shrine amid chants calling for the mobilization of the global human conscience, condemning the Zionist brutal violence, and demanding an immediate end to the occupying army's war crimes against humanity in Gaza, where thousands of innocent Palestinian people have been martyred and injured, apart from abusing their sanctities, imposing a siege, and starving the oppressed people of Gaza.

The rally was ended by holding a condemnation conference at the Holy Courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (AS), where the KHS Secretariat General’s speech was delivered by His Excellency Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhimi, the KHS Religious and Cultural Consultant who said, "Today, we gather at the holy Shrine of Imamain Kadhimain (AS) to renew our pledge of allegiance to the Holy prophet and his immaculate progeny as we recall Lady Zahra's (PBUH) courageous stances in defense of Islam and its sanctities, and she is in fact, an excellent role model for Muslims to make every effort to be in her footsteps in defending Islam and its sanctities wherever it may be."

Sheikh Al-Kadhimi concluded his address by thanking and appreciating everyone who took part in the march and made this blessed event a success.
