In order to raise health awareness among KHS medical division staff, the KHS Secretariat General, medical division organized a Medical Awareness-raising Course.

The course which was presented by Dr. Aalaa Kadhim Al-Asadi, covered several topics including: identifying types of wounds, types of bleeding and how to control it, types of burns, and causes of suffocation, in addition to food poisoning, its symptoms, and the most susceptible categories, besides preventative measures.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Asadi emphasized that to decrease the threat of infection, the media of the holy shrine and other institutions have to play a proactive role in promoting health awareness and preventative safety.

The medical seminar was also enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience.
