Under the guidance of the KHS Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the delegation of Kadhimain Holy Shrine accepted an invitation to attend the closing ceremony of (Umm-ul-Barakat) Contest held by the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Dept. of Abbas (P) Holy Shrine, coinciding with the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (SA).

The contest themes included classical Arabic poetry, historical and literary novels, theatrical novels, and short stories.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Holy Shrines and a number of religious, cultural, and literary figures from inside and outside Iraq.

Several speeches were delivered during the event praising this cultural and literary forum, which represents a favorable opportunity for cultural creativeness, whether visual, audible, or written.

The KHS delegation, for its part, praised the efforts of the contest’s organizers, wishing them more success.
