The sorrows of the Holy Prophet’s Household (PBUT) were renewed by the demise of the tenth light of the infallible Imams, Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS). In commemoration of His martyrdom anniversary, the KHS Secretariat General held sessions of mourning within the Holy Courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).

His Excellency, Sheikh Jaafar Al-Wa’ili, delivered a series of lectures and touched on some aspects of Imam Hadi’s (AS) blessed life, which represents an extension of his immaculate forefathers and their sublime merits.

Sheikh Al-Wa’ili also referred to the wise leadership of Imam Hadi (AS) and his insightful instructions to the adherents of AhlulBayt (AS).

His Excellency further mentioned how the Imam (AS) challenged the political stances at that time, up to His murder by the Abbasid rulers following the severe suffering He (AS) experienced in their prisons and the restrictions they imposed on Him (AS) and His followers.

Many poems of elegy were recited during the event, which was attended by masses of mourners.
