Under the auspices of the President of the Shiite Endowment Diwan, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, Al-Hamza Conference Hall at Kadhimain Holy Courtyard hosted the cultural symposium that was held by the College of Imam Kadhim (AS) under the slogan, “Status and Importance of AhlulBayt (AS) in the Life of the Nation”.
The symposium was attended by a number of religious, social, and academic figures.
The symposium, which was moderated by Dr. Nasir Al-Qurayshi, witnessed several lectures delivered by Dr. Mazin Al-Shareef from the Republic of Tunisia, Dr. Ahmed Shahata Al-Azhari from the Republic of Egypt, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Nouri, Deputy Head of Al-Ribat Al-Muhammadi Scholars Council.
The lectures reviewed research papers that highlighted the essential meaning of the deeply rooted love and loyalty for the Holy Prophet and his immaculate progeny (PBUT), who were embodying the values of unity, and translated it into thoughts and practices that aim to keep the Islamic message.
The lecturers also confirmed that such forums are necessary to spread the culture of the brotherhood of faith, call for Muslim unity, and combat all forms of extremism that attempt to spread discord, divide Islamic peoples, and misrepresent the authentic image of Islam.
The symposium was enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience and was concluded by awarding the researchers with certificates of merit.
