On the auspicious birth anniversary of the second of the Immaculate successors of the Holy Prophet (SAAW), Imam Hasan Mujtaba (AS), KHS Secretariat General, under the auspices of its Secretary General, Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, held a ceremony in the Holy Courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (AS).

The ceremony was held under the slogan: (O Honourer of the Believers), in the presence of a number of religious and social figures, besides the visitors of Kadhimain Holy Shrine.

The ceremony was started with some verses of Holy Quran and was followed by raising the banner of Imam Mujtaba (AS); gifted by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

His Excellency Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhimi, the KHS Secretariat General’s Adviser on Religious and Cultural Affairs, delivered a speech and congratulated the audience on this auspicious occasion.  

During his speech, His Excellency referred to the concept of Imamate in the Holy Qur’an and an overview of the blessed biography of the Master of Youth of the people of Paradise, Imam Mujtaba (AS).

He also added: “We should pay attention to our youth, who are facing a fierce attack by the enemies of Islam, taking such blessed occasions as an opportunity to address their problems and taking Imam Hassan as our role model on our path to God and in reforming society."

Many poems were also delivered during the ceremony, celebrating the auspicious occasion.
