As part of the annual tradition observed by Hussaini processions and organizations, starting from the eve of the eleventh and continuing until the thirteenth of Muharram, the holy city of Kadhimiya witnessed mourning processions who lit candles in a sorrowful march to offer condolences to Lady Zainab, the daughter of Ameer Ul-Mu’mineen (PBUT), and remembered with some poems of elegy the calamities that the family of the Messenger of God (PBUT) experienced during the brutal captivity of the oppressors.
