In commemoration of the sorrowful occasion of the anniversary of martyrdom of Imam Hasan ‘Askari (PBUH), the Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrien held sessions of mourning by the Hussaini speaker, Sheikh Jafar Al-Waili, at the holy courtyard of Imamain Kadhimain (PBUH).

His excellency, Sheikh Al-Waili, shed light on the blessed biography of Imam ‘Askari (PBUH) and the divine role he held for preserving the authentic teachings of the Islamic Message.

He also referred to the Imam’s great virtues, which represents an extension of his immaculate forefathers who filled the pages of history with their sublime merits. In addition to the wise leadership of Imam ‘Askari (PBUH) and his insightful instructions to the adherents of AhlulBayt (AS).

His Excellency further mentioned how the Imam (PBUH) challenged the political stances at that time, up to his murder by the Abbasid rulers following the severe suffering he (PBUH) experienced in their prisons and the restrictions they imposed on him (AS) and his followers.

Many poems of elegy were recited during the event, which was attended by masses of mourners on this sorrowful occasion.
