"Believe in God and His Messenger, and donate from what He has entrusted you with. So those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward." (Qur'an 57:7)

The Supreme, Almighty Allah, has said the truth.

After the noble Lebanese people were subjected to brutal aggression by the criminal Israeli Zionist entity, densely populated areas filled with innocent civilians and peaceful families were targeted. The blatant aggression included intense air raids on dozens of Lebanese villages and towns in the South and the Beqaa regions, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of large numbers of heroic resistance fighters and other innocent civilians, as well as the displacement of tens of thousands from their homes. Meanwhile, the ongoing sinful, and savage aggression continues to be inflicted upon our people in Lebanon and Palestine amidst a disgraceful global silence towards these crimes against humanity and acts of genocide.

In adherence to the saying of the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him and his progeny): “Whoever is not concerned about the affairs of the Muslims is no longer one of them," and in alignment with statement of the office of His Eminence, Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Husseini Sistani, issued on 19th Rabi' al-Awwal 1446 (September 23, 2024), in which he urged believers to take actions to alleviate the suffering of the wounded and oppressed Lebanese people and to meet their humanitarian needs.

In response, the Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine has undertaken the necessary steps to support our people in the Republic of Lebanon, express solidarity with them, and to deliver humanitarian aid alongside the other holy shrines. This effort stems from its sense of religious and moral responsibility.

We also express our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, beseeching God Almighty for the sake of Imamain Kadhimain (PBUT) to bestow His mercy upon the martyrs and grant the injured a speedy recovery.

Furthermore, we call on all honorable people worldwide to take a true stand against the actions of the Israeli entity by pressing the UN Security Council to issue a binding resolution to halt military operations and provide assistance to the afflicted Lebanese people.

Verily, to God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

The wrongdoers will come to know what evil end they will meet, and the ultimate outcome belongs only to the righteous.
