Under the auspices of the KHS Secretary General Dr. Haider H. Al-Shimmery, Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine honored the participants of memorization contest of the biography of Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (PBUH) that was organized by KHS Holy Quran Center.

The honoring ceremony for the (330) participants from both youth males and females was held at the Hall of Abdallah bin Abdul Mutalib (PBUH) at the Holy Shrine.

The ceremony was started with reciting some verses of Holy Quran and followed by the KHS Secretariat General speech, which was delivered by His eminence Shaikh Imad Al-Kadhimi who started his speech by the saying of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAAW), “I am leaving among you the Two Weighty Things ‘Thaqalayn’: the Book of Allah and my offspring”.

Sheikh Al-Kadhimi highlighted the importance of holding fast to the Holy Quran and knowing about the legacy of AhlulBayt (PBUT).

His eminence also empathized that parents have a significant responsibility to protect their children and encourage them to uphold the teachings of the Immaculate Imams and follow their approach, especially that of Imam Jawad (PBUH), particularly in a time when our youth are facing various challenges from the enemies of Islam.

The ceremony also included some chanting poems by KHS reciter Ali Maher, and was concluded with awarding the participants with certificates of merits and gifts.

The Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine aims, through these blessed efforts, to nurture a generation that remains steadfast in Islamic principles and committed to the teachings of AhlulBayt (PBUT).
