Al-Jawadain Library Cultural Seminar Holds Symposium Entitled: "Al-Zuhri and Historical Responsibility in Narratives of the Prophet’s Biography”

The Cultural Seminar of Al-Jawadain Library at Kadhimain Holy Shrine held its 147th seminar, titled: “Al-Zuhri Muhammad bin Muslim (Born 124 AH) and the Historical Responsibility in the Narratives of the Prophets Biography,” gathering a distinguished audience of researchers, acae4demics, and intellectual personalities.

The session began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a research paper by Dr. Kareem M. Al-Omairi, who shed light on the importance of studying works related to the documentation of Hadith and the Prophet's biography (Sirah), taking al-Zuhri’s narrations as a model, highlighted the historical responsibility of narrators in preserving the authenticity of narrations amid the challenges they face."

The seminar was also enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience.

The Symposium witnessed other activities including reciting some verses by the poets Sayyed Muhsen Al-Musawi and Nabeel Abu Al-Eis Al-Kadhimi, commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUH).
