KHS Secretary-General Participates in Secretaries General Conference Hosted by Abbas Holy Shrine
Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, Secretary-General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine, took part in the Secretaries-General Conference of Holy Shrines, hosted by the Secretariat General of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine.
The conferees thoroughly discussed the affairs of the Holy Shrines and Sanctuaries, with a clear aim to achieve the highest standards of performance and urging to reflect the noble principles and teachings of AhlulBayt (PBUT) in both words and deeds.
The Secretaries-General emphasized the importance of unifying efforts, promoting collaboration, and implementing new service-driven strategies to achieve optimal performance. They also stressed the necessity of developing joint activities and programs among the holy shrines, facilitating the exchange of expertise across various sectors, including health, education, religion, intellection, culture, media, administration, and services.
During the press conference that followed the meeting, the KHS Secretary-General stressed the importance of securing adequate financial support from official authorities for the holy shrines.
He stated: "The holy shrines must be supported by the relevant official entities through proper funding and allocation of financial resources, enabling them to fulfill their duties in accordance with religious and legal frameworks."
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Shammari highlighted the vital role of the holy shrines in confronting crises, including defending against extremist terrorist attacks in various Iraqi provinces and offering shelter to Lebanese refugees displaced by the Zionist entity's attacks on their country.
He also praised the efforts of the religious custodians, secretaries-general, and servants of holy shrines in serving visitors.
