The Spanish Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Pedro Martineth, and the accompanied delegation were honored by visiting Kadhimain Holy Shrine.

The delegation who was warmly received by Eng. Saad M. Hasan, the KHS Deputy Secretary General, expressed their happiness with this visit.

The KHS Deputy Secretary General gave the delegation a brief account of the AhlulBayt (PBUT) legacy and the Holy Shrine’s history, then they had a tour inside the holy courtyard and saw the artistic, historical, and Islamic architectural sites, and also the projects being achieved and the services offered by the Kadhimain Holy Shrine to the visitors.

The Spanish ambassador was highly impressed by the Holy Shrine's spiritual atmosphere, as well as its aesthetic and architectural features. “My visit to the Shrine of Imamain Kadhimain”, he said, “is a special day to me”.

At the end of his visit, Mr. Martineth thanked the KHS Secretariat General for their kind hospitality.
